I am very excited to officially take the helm of Frankfort High School and continue to lead from the Principal position. My passion for education is ingrained in many of the aspects we uphold at FHS; this passion centers on building positive school culture, providing access to opportunities, and meeting students where they are to increase academic standards through personalized learning.

Prior to returning to Frankfort, to step in as Interim Principal in February of 2020, I served as Assistant Principal at Paris High School. During my teaching tenure, I have served as a dual Learning and Behavior Disorders and Moderate to Severe Disabilities Special Education teacher at most recently Frankfort High School, and previously at East Jessamine High School. While also serving the Frankfort Independent District, I also served as a special education teacher at the Rosenwald Empowerment Academy and Panther Transition Academy.  During my time in Frankfort, I also assumed a multitude of leadership roles including Special Education Department Chair, SBDM Council Teacher Representative, Academic and Behavioral Response to Intervention (ABRI) Planning Committee member, and member of the district Profile of a Graduate development team.

My wife, Megan, and I have twin boys, Hayden and Hampton who are 4 years old. Megan is the Vice President of Marketing at NetGain Technologies. We love to spend most of our time enjoying the company of our extended family.

I grew up in Morgantown, KY, and attended Butler County High School. After high school, I went on to the University of Kentucky where I majored in social studies education and competed on the varsity swim team earning 12 All-American Honors. After college, I had the opportunity to represent our country on the USA National Swim Team, winning a gold medal as a part of the 4x100 relay team at the 2012 World Championship. Since competing internationally, I have coached the swim teams at Frankfort and Bryan Station High Schools.

I am looking forward to continuing the traditions that Frankfort High holds dear, as we strive to provide a world-class education to all of our students by equipping them with 21st skills, habits of success, and unparalleled opportunities.
