Today's honoree is Mattye Guy Knight. Ms. Knight was instrumental in securing funds from the Carter administration to build new homes in Sanctified Hill after a mudslide. Her efforts won her the Rockefeller Award for Contributions to America.

5th grade had a wonderful trip to BizTown today! Our students received several compliments on their behavior and how prepared they were for today's learning. Shoutout to Mrs. McDonald and all of our volunteers for making today awesome!
