FHS Track will practice 5:30-6:30 in the front hallway of FD Wilkinson gym on Tuesday and Thursday this week.
SSS Families,
We have provided a lot of grace coming into 2024 by allowing you to get back into a routine and adjust to the weather, but we need everyone back on schedule! I, Mrs. Sams, will head into the building tomorrow at 7:45am. Once I have gone inside you will be required to park and sign your child into the front office. Today we would have had 30+ students receiving a tardy. Please make adjustments for tomorrow.

The Frankfort Independent Schools will operate on a 1-hour delay on Wednesday, January 17th. Second Street School doors will open at 8:15 a.m., and Frankfort High School doors will open at 8:30 a.m. Morning preschool will also operate on a one-hour delay and will still release at 11 a.m.
Thank you for your understanding and for trusting us to put the safety of our students first and ensure that they receive the best academic services we can provide.

Due to continued winter weather this evening, the Frankfort Independent Schools will operate on a 2-hour delay on Tuesday, January 16th to ensure that our parking lots and stairs are clear for students and staff. Second Street doors will open at 9:15 a.m. and Frankfort High School doors will open at 9:30 a.m. Morning preschool at Second Street School is canceled. Afternoon preschool will operate as normal.

BETA Parents,
Due to the weather, Kentucky has canceled the rest of the BETA convention. 6th/7th/8th will continue to compete today but will return to Frankfort tomorrow around 10:00 am.
This also means that 4th/5th grade BETA will not travel to Lexington for the convention later this week. We will send out more details as we receive them.
