In his final speech, on April 3, 1968 in Memphis, TN, Dr. King spoke these words. They rang true then, and they still ring true today. May we always strive to lessen inequities and make our communities and nation great.

In observance of the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., the Frankfort Independent Schools will be closed on Monday, January 16th. Let us use this time to remember Dr. King's work toward equality and continue to move the work forward.

We had a pipe burst at Second Street, which has resulted in no heat in the building for tomorrow.
School will NOT be in session for FHS, SSS, and FELA for Friday, November 18. This will be a traditional "snow day" with no NTI.
Athletics will continue as planned.
